Have you ever visited Sanibel during sea turtle nesting season? If not, you are missing something special.
Walking on the beach as the sun comes up, you might get the opportunity to see turtle tracks going to and from a nest that was dug during the night. That is nothing short of awesome!
As of a few days ago, there are already 65 nests on Sanibel beaches and 33 on Captiva.
The first nest at Pointe Santo this season.
While you are walking, you might as well check for sea shells, along with the shore birds.
If this sounds appealing, give us a call, we can help you with arrangements for a stay at one of the most popular places on the island,
Pointe Santo de Sanibel.
